All about THE Bath Chorus

THE Bath Chorus is a mixed-voice Choir which was started by Grenville Jones in January 2009. The choir rehearses every Monday from 7.45pm to 9.45pm at St Bart's Church which is in Oldfield Park, Bath at the top of King Edward Road - have you tried the Morland Road Indian Panaha Restaurant - surely the best in Bath !

Prospective new members are always welcome to come along and meet us. If you are new to the area and missing your old choir - then come along and see if we are the new choir for you ! If you are one of the many people who are thinking about joining a choir - don't be shy - come along and meet THE Bath Chorus.

Once you have decided that you like us there will be a (painless we promise you) voice test with Grenville and Francis. Grenville is proud to be the Founder Conductor and his Deputy and Accompanist is Francis Faux.

The Choir has a strong social base, social events, home concerts and tours are very much part of THE Bath Chorus. Singing should always stretch the choir technically to achieve the highest standard but MUST be enjoyable for choir members and audiences alike.

The Choir may be augmented on occasions by additional singers or groups as the concert occasion demands, such as THE Bath Male Choir - one of GJ's other Choirs or the fabulous Stockingtops. Both these groups are very well behaved - most of the time !!
